power down win2000 Archived to Disk

does anybody know about a VB routine to powerdown a win2000 system. I have found the shutdown routine, but is shows the message that is is save to turn the computer off. (a bit nasty on my laptop).

If there was something which could help you,
Microsoft used it for his shutdown.
