I am pleased to annunce you the opening of the new download section...you can find it at http://www.andreavb.com/forum/database or you can use the "Downloads" link in the top of the forum pages...

everybody registered in the forum can upload files and pieces of code, and after a review I'll validate them!

Every suggestion or bug reporting is well appreciated, the search is not working at the moment but I'll add it very soon!

Got a question that may apply to everyone (and make your job easier, admin).

If we're working on a piece of code, do you want a version if we know something new will be added, or get it "final" then submit it?

at the moment the version field is required and it must be in the format n.n.n

You can leave 1.0.0 the first time you submit it...if you will have a new version of the same piece of code you can upload it as 1.1.0 or 1.0.1   , So I will remove the old version from the database and I'll leave only the new one...

If you don't think the version field is useful I can also remove it...

please let me know...

As long as you don't mind the maintenence, putting a version is the best way.

I've seen that the downloads are pretty active, almost 1/2 if the views have lead to downloads. So I mainly just a question to all/any of you who have downloaded them:

Any questions on the code/controls that you've downloaded?

OK,

following your suggestion I've added a support topic (just to test) at your "Validate eMail address" code so people can add their comments directly from the download page...

I've upgraded the script to add a support/comments discussion topic to every approved uploaded file...
