Printing alternate lines grey

I am new to VB. I want to print a report with alternate lines greyed. I cannot figure out how to print a line with a grey background. Can anyone help me.

One method of doing this would be to create your report from vb but in excel. You can then programatically set the back ground colours of the spreadsheet. Then print it again, programatically, the user never need know that excel was even used.

There are several examples of using excel and vb in this forum, but if you need more help let me know.
