I want to communicate with a mobile phone and send sms text messages.
I have a cable to connect the phone to a serial port and can use sms call centre software, but I would like to be able to write my own code to send text messages and also to be able to get the recipient to reply and store their response.

Can anyone help ?

Most is free I think being a subscriber to MSDN I'm not sure but I think the tools are free to all.
