Yea know - I have never found a way to get it to work with ADO. Works fine with DAO data control - but with ADO it only list the field the ADO control is set on.
AND - At one time I did an extensive search for help on this and very little info is available.
 I've seen this question several times and never seen anyone say it does not work with ADO. Response (if there is one) is to change controls.....

Nope you can't use the DBCombo box with ADO. (anyone care to prove me wrong??)
