i need to disable physycal 'com1' port because i',m already create virtual 'com1'.if i can't disable physical 'com1' it will cause virtual port function improperly.i'm already post this message to forum.so far only one person response.i,got the sample of add/delete port from vbcity,but it is not working.please guide me.you can check my post message.the author is ashraf_arifin.the tittle is how to disable device with vb.i need the solution urgently.thank you.

well dude! try disabling the port via the PC BIOS!!!! the only way to disable PHYSICALLY the port. If you quit the port from device manager, next time windows start and detects the port, installing it and configuring.
