i've used it... actually, the first time i did, it was admin who invited me.

it's alright... just hard to keep up when there are more than two other chatters...

why? haven't tried it?

I'm voting 'no', but I went into chat sometimes, found somebody, typed some 'hello' in it, and got no answer. No instructive this way, Chat is a good feature but the forum is more instructive.

I voted YES, I've been in the many times. Not necessarily to talk about vb but just to chat in general, after all we do all help in the same forum so i tihnk its nice to get to know our "colleagues" a little bit. I've had some good chats with admin,vbgen,shady,sticks and many others

I usually check, and find the "Nobody is Chatting at this time."
message, so I don't bother going in. I also find that nobody else is logged on (only a few guests) so I guess that time zones is the problem!

I usually log on and find that No one is chatting at this time. I do not enjoy chatting with No-one so I don't get in. Normally only a few people are logged on at the same time, but inviting them to join me in a chat will involve sending a PM which they might not read until the next time they log on.

I guess the issue is time zones. When I log on in the morning and go the 'Today's Active Posts', I see posts from the previous day until around 9am-10am. Right now I am alone and there is no one chatting. I will keep the chat window open to see if I can make a chat friend. Bye.
