How to pass dataset to crystal report from vb.net project ?

Please tell me how could I pass to dataset to crystal report. tell me all the steps in detail from report creation to coding and I don’t want to work with any data control rather i would like to write code for connection, adapter, dataset instead.
Please give me sample code with full explanation if possible.
