Is it possible to create a Standard EXE using VBA (macro, etc.) in Access 97?

Well if I understand what your asking.
It would not be an EXE, but you can create an executable access application which is a file type MDE. (nuttalm.mde)
In Access 97 go to "Tools" menu
Select "Database Utilities" - then
Select "Make MDE File"

I've never heard of a compiler for Access that will create an EXE file.
Hope this helps
