Re: Ideas needed
Hmm... the only things I can think of... I'm doing and going to try and sell... so don't know if I want the competition ;)
But I always write programs that I can use, or find useful, because chances are someone else would too (and if not, you've got a working program).

Re: Ideas needed
well, the other VB sites often advertize their OCXes...
I'm flashing out: (a good) customizable reporting tool, (a good) db interfacing manager, (a good, and light) tool to instant-message my app(s) into a local network, (a good).... well, anything that MS didn't include in VB, or anything that VB developers are often complaining about. It's not an easy choice.
I miss so much a VB-like language for Linux platform. I would like moving to Linux, but after five years studying VB I find myself out tight bound to MS world, and I'm wondering: "If I do, what language can I develop with?". It's sad after all my efforts to increase my VB strenght. Somebody made it for MSAccess dbs, with Recall, but nobody minded yet about VB. I don't know if it takes an emulator, or a compilator, or a complete brand new language, I'd just like to see one day my VB-written app running on a Linux machine. But maybe, it's still a far idea to reach...
