icon .NET compability with old win versions

Does anyone know if executables and com objects that I would create in .NET would be compatible in lower win versions (win95, 98)?

Since it uses the .NET framework (a download for prior OS versions), I'd say as long at it can be installed the program will run.

.NET framework SP2 is compatible with:
Win NT4, 2k,XP
Win 98, ME
