I want to know how to develop a custom shape button, let me tell you what I want to do say suppose I have one form and one command button and I have assign a picture to that button after that I want to call some api function by which the background and border of the command button will be transparent but the assigned picture to the command button will be visible in this I can make my command button will have a shape of a picture assigned to it.
That is why I want to know which API functions is required for that but I don't want to use any custom control. Simply I want to do it by calling some API function. If possible please provide easy ready-made sample.

i have not found my file on this, but surely you will need the createrndrgn api, and others i will post later, unless someone can post earlier.

pardon me, tri_inn, i was not able to find apis to give that effect to an existing command button.  

why don't you want to make your own custom control?

it's not that complicated, and it won't eat so much of your time making it.
