icon Crystal - Invalid Directory

Has anyone tried to compile and run the package after using the crystal viewer? I tried but it gave me invalid directory message; thus anytime I try to run a report within the application. However, within VB it runs perfectly well anytime I try to run a report.

What do you think must be the problem?

I use Crystal Report 8.5 with MS access 2000.

Well, never did meet with that message, but I did have lots of problems with distributing CR with my app. Most probably you didnt include all files needed for CR to work. Most of dlls dont need to be registered, just copied, so you could go step by step to see which dlls you missed by copying them (like dlls in Windows\Crystal\ folder....).

The above problem has been solved.

Instead of using app.path & .... I rather specified a UNC naming convention to the location of the report file and that worked fine.

I can now smile.

Great thanks

Isaac
