This will be inportant  i want so when i visit my website a box pops up and asks for the password and if  they enter the wrong 1 it wont let them in but if i like enter the right pass word  i want it to let me see my website   do u have a html code any1 i can use             

normally it's a .htaccess file and password file on the web server itself... well, the most secure way at least.

it should exist in the documentation on your hosting company's site (since they might not allow it!), or the documentation of the web server itself.

You can't use HTML because it is viewable by the client computer.  Is there any reason why your can't use an .htaccess file?

   I think you are trying to access an FTP site or part of the site that is just allowed to the members/authenticated users !
