encounter error after developing custom webcontrol?

i have developed a custom webcontrol like a textbox which will accept only numeric & decimal value.
when i am trying to drag and drop my custom webcontrol on web form after adding the control to toolbox then
nothing is appearing on webform. so i just can not understand why my control is not getting
drag & drop on web form.please tell me how could i fix this error.
