Re: Need a VB6 license
Hey Yronium, have you found it somewhere? I am also thinking about buying one, but I am wondering if it is legal to work with used copy of VB6. I mean, do you need to have a bill on your name? Or to be more precize, what do you need to have, so this copy would be legal? Also, I have read that some MS products have NFR stick on it (not for resale), so what is the case with VB6 (or Visual Studio 6)?

Re: Need a VB6 license
I didn't find it yet, or to be precise, I find some but they were too expensive to me.
To have a legal copy (license), whether used or not, I mean: having a box/a book in my shelf, with MS hologram. With it, I can legally sell my projects, without it they can send me the revenue guards (in Italy it's called Finance Guards), and they have the right to lock my pc, to take my hard disks, and to fine me.
Did you hear about Business Software Alliance? MS is one of the biggest sposors of BSA, and they are used to send the revenue guards to anybody they know has not a software license.
The Not For Resale sticker is the license for some OEM products, that are shipped in bundle with a pc. It's the case of MS Works, or some OS, but not Visual Studio, nor the Edicational license (that anyway doesn't give me the right to sell anything done with it). As far as I know, there is no Free version of Visual Studio 6 or VB6.
I'm still loking. I had also a look on RealBasic, but its Pro license it's still too expensive, and I'd have to study all the differences. In the while, I'm off-law.

Re: Need a VB6 license
Another thing.... Amazon, Ebay, and all other sites that offer online buying, how much are they safe? I mean, if a guy acrros the world offers me a VB unsealed, how can I be sure that I am getting this one too? And If I am being cheated, will someone make sure I get my money back or it is a finished stuff?
