icon Printserver port outputting

Hiya

Bet this one gets the lot of ya stumped!!!!

Got 3 printservers on my network.
Written a program to output to my parallel port to operate relays for my project. Works great!

BUT

Now wanna put project alot further away so gonna use 1 of the printservers and connect relays to it's parallel port.
Sounds easy eh?

Just redirect lpt1 to the printserver with the net use command in dos. WRONG!!!!!

Tried that - will print fine with a printer attached but soon as I disconnect the printer and attach my relays or a test LED card, output bits 1 and 7 stay on permanently and nothing works! DOH!!!!!

Any help out there? PLEASE!!!!!

Been on to the manufacturers of one printserver and getting thr run arround.

Paul
