the default printing size of the datareport is A4 as A4 is the page size set in the default printer, but my problem is i want the report height to be 6 inch and not A4, please help

Hi,
Open your report in ReportDesigner and click on the "Properties" button on the main toolbar to show the Property Pages for the report. You can change the "ReportWidth" of the report here - the properties for "Height" and "Width" refer to the Report Window size when showing in Preview, not how it prints. The Height of the report will be set according to the Height of your Header, Detail, and Footer sections, so just adjust them until the report prints correctly onto the size of paper that you have in your printer.
