Can you help me? I wonder that i have telephone and i want to control it by pc.
it's mean that when someone use telephone it will write in
my PC . For example:
             my mother use telephone to call to her friend.
             it will writes in my program or notpad :
             Someone use telephone 3 minutes 30 secondes.
Can you help me out please?

I dont see how this is possible with only a computer and a telephone. There has to be some form of communication between the devices. However, this is possible with a mobile phone.

There are 3d party softwares that can spy on phone (modem), one is called ModemSpy. If you are asking how to make such a osftware, not many people research in this area, so it will be hard to find someone to help you.

there's a way out for this problem.. But ofcourse, the pc will always remain on, and the modem will have to continously check if the phones up....
Check out the mscomm control that comes wid VB. U can easlily hook it up, and in an ONCOMM event, check whether the event was Phone Raise/hangup and if it is so, write in a file or whateva u want to do....
I'm surprised that Goran didnt suggest u to use MSCOMM.. And well, now that i c he didnt do it, i'm not that confident that it can be done or not   . Anyways If u can't make it, post a msg here, and i'll send u up the code (if it is possible... and i'm quite sure it is possible, but.....)
