Rounding off

how to round off a amount such as 1994.87 to 1995.00
and 1994.49 to 1994 in crystal report 8.5.

Please help

Right click on a field, select Format option. There you should have Number section, where you can customize its appereance. Use Round function for this purpose.

No dear not that way! i mean i want to show the rounded off amount in the report itself e.g

G.total    1499.75
R/O +            .25
----------------------
               1500.00

or

G.total    1499.45
R/O -             .45
--------------------
              1499.00

You can create formulas in CR. SO it is quite easy:

R/O formula

G.total - Round(G.total)

and similarly for the result field
