can this be possible in VB to retrieve all the softwares and third party softwares installed on computer. and also Antivirus and its last updated date.

The easiest way would be to just scan the hard drive's "Program Files" folder... and then all other folders for .exe files.

You can't really do updates for anti-virus programs, unless you know where and how that info's stored by the programs.
