I'm using transparent gifs in image boxes. Those are part of an activeX control.
When i use the control in another project the transparency within the gifs does work. BUT... the transparency of the user-controls background doesnt work...
I tried it with the maskpicture property of the usercontrol, but that doesnt work either...

does anyone have a work around for this problem?

...codesamples should be simple if possible since im new to vb6...

(I know most ppl on here arent too happy about VB6... but i gotta use it... didnt have a choice...)
