deleting registry keys
i am saving keys in the registry using SaveSetting(appname, section, key, [default]). now, when the user changes their setting i want to delete the key along with the section (that's my problem i don't know how to delete the section as well as the key). and then i want to save a new setting under a different section name. does anyone know how i can do this?

Re: deleting registry keys
would this code helps? I got it from the internet.
This module contains procedures for reading and writing to the Windows Registry. Using this code, you can add, edit, delete, enumerate, and find registry keys and values.
' Module : modRegistry

Re: deleting registry keys
Not that I'm aware of... the commands you're referring to are VB's built-in commands. They store the program's settings in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\VB and VBA Program Settings\appname\section\key

Re: deleting registry keys
does this mean im going to have to use some kind of API to search the registry for my key and then delete the specific section/key that i want?

Re: deleting registry keys
If you used the built-in thing, the settings are where I said (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\VB and VBA Program Settings\appname\section\key)
the "appname", "section", "key" are the same values as what you used to store the items.
