 icon Printing to different trays

I am trying to print to 2 different printer trays through a VB program and am experiencing to different problems.
On a 2 tray printer the printer goes off-line everytime the tray is switched. On a printer with more than 2 trays tray switches are ignored and the whole document is printed from the same tray. Any ideas?
