icon mdb password

Hi,

I'm using the crystal report which came from my copy of vb6 I then made a report using an access 2003 but whenever I open the crystal report wizard to select my mdb file It will ask me an mdb password... then I tried the "sa" pass...it doesn't worked!!..I then canceled the password message and an error pop up "unrecognized mdb file or something (I forgot the whole message, sorry).. After that I tried to convert my database to version 2000, it doesn't worked either, and then convert it to 97 format viola it worked!!! My question is what is the password for access 2003 mdb file? I think it only support the 97 file format. Do I need to use the latest version of crystal in order to use the access 2003?

Well if you are using come of the first versions of CR, most probably it doesnt know about access 2003 format. I use CR 9.2 and it supports access 2003...

Update Visual Basic Runtime file from Microsoft website. I think you need new MS Access Jet engine updated (which is available inside the Runtime file) so the report can use it to read MS Access 2000/2003 file format.
