could anybody help me out,,, how could my client application get its database info at the server side...where the database could be located at the server side... could anybody tell me help me out to code this in vb6...?? my database is an MS Access...??

just add a ADODC control (to get the connection string), follow the prompts, select the location of the file.  

All you need is the connection string, then you use it for the connection variable.  


I don't have code handy offhand... but basically it's similar to connecting to a local database, just with the path being on another computer.
