Hey, im wondering
i wanna create a game that talks to a sever,
how could i do this?

well im trying to get 2 diffrent programs here, on 2 computers a cliet and a sever,

i knw this is huge but i realli just wanna knw some basics on this, just explain to me, how to get one program to send a text to another program, and i shld be set i can work around it and wut not, and if u could show me how to get it to use ports and stuff, like if one person could show an example on the text and one on the port and one on the ip talking would be great

and if u could just add " ' " to explain the function and wut not

You need to use WinSock. Google winsock chat, and you'll get loads of examples (including comments )
