Dear Friends and Masters

I have an Excel Sheet, cells are updated periodically by an instrument, now What I Need is, When the Cell content of "A1" changes, immediately I want to transfer this cell content to another VB6 application where this data is analysed in symulation mode, I tried DDEInitiate, but I failed, Pls. help me.  (VB6 application is separate software, I have source code for this application) or How can I find the changes made in Excel sheet, immediatly from VB6 application.
