I have implemented one applicaiton which downloads data from server thru HTTP. I am using WinINet.dll functions for connecting to server thru HTTP requests and responses.
This application is working fine with huge data(like 3MB) with IE6 installed on PC. But, customers were upgraded to IE7 now and downloading small data correctly but giving error(12002 - request timed out) with huge data(3MB). If they uninstall IE7 then application working fine...
It seems problem with IE only(I guess). can any one clarify whethere it is a problem with IE? and Is this known issue with IE7? Is there any relation b/w wininet.dll and IE?
suggest any solutions if any? Please help ... customers are crying...
Maybe it's a problem with IE7,
It has compatibility questions.

I would guess that some file is corrupted in your IE temporary files
directory. Try deleting them by hand.
