Campaign Management System
Company Profile:
First Commercial Bank is a familiar bank and one of the leading financial services group, whose businesses provide a comprehensive range of banking and financial services in Kenya and overseas. At the end of 1999 total assets were valued at Kshs. 17.6 Billion and there were over 20000 employees. Market capitalization was Kshs. 42.4 Billion.
Business Requirements
F.C.B runs various advertising and promotional campaigns in their branches. These campaigns are used to promote various products and services (loans, accounts and mortgages) Campaigns can be countrywide (Kenya), for example to advertise a new product (e.g. mortgage rate) or can just be targeted at specific branches, e.g a promotion for a new students account aimed at students might be restricted to branches close to universities and colleges. Each branch can be identified with a particular locality e.g. a branch near a college or a neighborhood.
Each branch has a different mix of advertising sites (posters, leaflets, varying poster sizes, shapes, plain, illuminated frames, window, wall mounted, interior positioning e.t.c.)
The requirements are for a Campaign Management System which supports the following:
1. Definition of a new campaign (type, start and end dates).
2. Select and assign branches to the campaign.
3. Select and assign posters/ leaflets e.t.c to advertising sites.
4. Identify and advertising site conflicts with other campaigns.
5. Produce address labels.
You have been asked to design and implement a system to meet these requirements and others you feel appropriate.
Technology to use:
1. Microsoft Access.
2. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
