Re: Wireless to wireless?
hold on... you mean to say that you have one wireless adapter, and you think you could use another to create a wireless mini network?
it's possible. if you're using windows xp for both pcs, then that's a good start. you'll just have to go to your network connections panel, and create a wireless network. the steps are quite easy.
with the second pc that'll be installed with the next wireless adapter will just scan for new wireless access points, and when you see the name of the wi-network you made on the first pc, just connect.
next would be setting your main internet connection(probably a modem?) to share its connection with other computers in the network.
i don't think it should be any harder than setting up normal networks.. it's just that the location of each pc should not be too distant from each other. otherwise, you'll have a problem.

is this equivalent to "NETWORK BRIDGING" option of XP?

Re: Wireless to wireless? - HELP?
Hi,
k, I've been finally able to setup the wireless network using WINPROXY (on the server pc)... But I still ain't getting access to my email using outlook on the client pc...
The exact error I'm getting on outlook is:
-Find incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook could not connect to the incoming mail server (POP3). The problem could be the server name or port, or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings in More Settings under the Advanced tab.
-(same msg as above for smtp)
anyways, my email server does NOT require ssl, neither have i enabled it anywhere in outlook.... FYI, the same account is running OK when it is connected directly to the modem, but when i connect thru my other pc (on wireless) this error occurs...
SOME1 PLEASE BAIL ME OUT!!!!
