Hello All,

We've searched elsewhere online and contacted the software manufacturer's support staff that we are having issues with - all to no avail. Hopefully this will be a simple fix for those of you involved in VB.

We are trying to install a cad/cam program called Alphacam. As the installation begins we get an error code that reads:

VBA6 Init fail: 536870918

We click OK and the installation aborts.

Any advice you can give is much appreciated.

Hello. Unfortunately the error does not seem to be any standard VB nor an ADO/DAO error. Instead, it seems to be a custom error code. My only suggestion is directly contacting application's manufacturer.
