u may not remember me but i learnt ado & got confidence to use recordset object from u. u also provided some useful tips & references.

I'm moved, and a bit surprised as I never figured out that my posts could be anyhow helpful for such an important project like yours.

Of course I give you my congrats for the honourable conlusion of you project, but you should have put my name at the end of the credit list. And remember, the top places are for you and your team: nothing would have been possible without your efforts. So first, be proud of yourself.

THANX FOR REPLYING. the entire project's logic was based on ado object as:
1. charts displayed thanx to ado recordsets.
2. data stored in dbs by ado's recordset object.
3. i could take pics of charts due to ado
4. even my lan communication window worked on ado(yes!!!).
5. BMS TESTER  a tester program for our main application also worked on Ado object which generates random sequence of numbers stored in different tables of db.

i used to make my group members read our discussions here & they even felt that ur name should come first for ur help.

the reactor personnel were amazed as it is the only project that has been completed by trainee engineers as most of the lot are ignorant. The reactor personnel promised to use our project as a prototype model for the real system they will be building soon.

As we need a small spark to light up torch of succcess we are thankful to you for providing it.
