run exe during boot process

hi, i'm new to vb. created ac exe which help to view pics.I want to run it when I start my system with xp/98. looking fotward for some help.

Place a shortcut in your startup folder:
c:\documents and settings\username\start menu\programs\startup

alternatively
add a registry entry in HKCU\Software\microsoft\current version\run
