Desktop Working Area
...well thats what ill call it for now.
this will definately be a head-grinder unless you've done it before.
when the windows taskbar is in "always on top" mode, other windows, when maximized, conform to the area given to them, i.e. if you resize the height of the taskbar the maximized windows shrink and expand with it.
my aim is to make a "widescreen" application so that all apps think that the desktop working area is squashed a little from the top and bottom so i can utilise the new blank area (yes ill kill the taskbar, iv got the code for it)
i could do it with constantly refreshing api calls to put the windows in their places, and right sizes, etc, which is a bit of a task and i suppose that would do, but it still wont reposition the desktop icons and other stuff...
im open to any suggestions whatsoever
thanks
