Re: new version 1.1.0
Thanks for releasing the new Igo Skin editor 1.1.
Now I can open the problematic files, although the opening process is not smooth, it takes a few ENTER clicks before the file opens.
Thanks any way it is a graet help though.
Now for my other question please.
Is there a way to compile a skin?
Or, can you give me a clue, how can I start searching for an answer?
Thanks again.

Thanks for releasing Igo Skin editor.
I am using this editor to create skins for iGo8 and it very helpfull!
However I have encountered a strange problem.
When I am trying to open few files of the data.zip from the new Nav N Go iGO 8 R3 series - v8.3.4.102680 (Aug 13 2009), the Skin editor stops responding without opening the files.
The link for the new Nav N Go iGO 8 is:
http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=255&t=53127.
The problematic files are:
navigatemap_480_272.ui and setting_480_272.ui
How can I resolve the problem?
Another question please.
Is there a way to compile a skin (SkinName.zip), so it still functions as a skin within iGo8.
Thank you very much.

I've never compiled a skin...but it seems that all you need to do is add your skin file to a zip, maybe using WinZip...you should ask this question to people who release new skins...
it is all about creating a zip file with folders structure and your template files...
but really I don't know
Thanks for your response.
Do you have anything about the problem that I pointed out with the new release?

Re: new version 1.1.0
Hello-
I would love to try your software but it seems that I am getting an error on download. I think the links may be broken. The error is:
This ID doesn't exist!
Thanks!

Hi there,
I've been developing my own Amigo skin and just now discovered your great app. I've been doing all of the editing in notepad, and now that I find this, I feel foolish. So, thank you for making this program.
I do have a question. I have been using an app called MioMap-IGO BMP Tool to uncompress and compress my BMP files. It works great, although it can't uncompress all of the BMP's for some reason. Your app on the other hand can obviously uncompress/read the files because you can display them. The only problem is, your app doesn't allow the saving of these files. I have one background images in particular I really need to edit, but I cannot. Your app shows the image perfectly. Do you know of any app that I can use to uncompress these stubborn BMP files? Is there an easy way for you to add this functionality to your app? I am to the point where I might just take a screen shot of the BMP while your app displays it. This would mean that I lose all of the alpha layer information though. Any assistance you can provide me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
