I am having a problem when I try to load a skin.
The skin is contained in the Magellan 4370 skin which
I downloaded from the 'net'.

When I open the skin (480x272) I almost immediately get a runtime error 91
Object variable or With block variable not set.

How do I go about resolving this problem in the skin as no location is given.

Are you using the latest version 1.1.2?
I should debug it with the skin you are using...
maybe you can give me the URL where you downloaded it from...

you're right there was an error loading this skin...
I've fixed it and I'll post a new patched version soon...
check to see when v1.1.3 is out

Okay, the skin load does work, but the program behavior is different. Now it does not open the skin as it used to do.

Gremlin, or design.

Another quirk, even though I have specified a path to the skin in options I have to navigate from the Igoeditor folder to the desired folder.

a third question, it does not seem possible to edit when a skin is loaded, which seems reasonable as the data structure must be completely different. It would seem that disabling the tab would be helpful rather then just showing blank panels.  Or am I missing something and not clicking edit at the right time.


I would like to stress that I have found IgoEditor an absolute necessity in my Quest to port Igo8 to a new hardware platform.

you can edit a skin by selecting a layer from the simulation tab and with the right mouse button select edit...

you can edit one layer at a time...

the path in options is for locating the default skin and not the one you want to edit...

OPPS... Dumb user error.

Any skin that ver 1.1.2 opened ver 1.1.3 also opens and displays the screen.

Skins that where giving the '91' error in ver 1.1.2 now load without error but do not display the screen. I suspect that the skin does not contain all the required files even though they where distributed as 'data.zip' files rather than 'myskin.zip' files. Will start testing by looking for "missing" files. Start with my default Data.zip then extract the 2nd set of files over top should be a quick method.  Ah well Live and Learn.
